Who writes these guides

Guides are written under the editorial pen name Wade Merrell, Off-grid power and RV writer at CampVerdict. Wade Merrell is the editorial pen name used by CampVerdict’s off-grid and RV reviewer. Guides are based on the research method and evidence disclosed on each page.

How we stay honest

Every guide states how it was put together and where it stops (see how we evaluate), and every affiliate relationship is disclosed (disclosure). Commissions never decide our picks. When a brand makes a claim we cannot trace to independent evidence, we say that on the page instead of repeating it, and when someone else's rating is worth quoting, we credit it to them rather than presenting it as our own score.
